The Indent Right command indents the lines intersecting with the current selection to the right by the size of one tab stop. Lines that begin with # are not indented. Source Insight indents lines to the right by inserting a tab character. If you have the “Expand tabs to spaces” option on for the current document type, then spaces equivalent to a tab stop are inserted instead of a tab character.
